California

Today's post is my unfortunate, vague way of letting you all know that Fiance and I are OFFICIALLY BOOKED for a trip to California!!!

A screenshot of the Southwest app loading because I don't
want my actual itinerary public on the interwebs.
Fiance and I have been talking for the past year about how much we wanted to go to Blizzcon (a convention put on by Blizzard Entertainment, the gaming company behind Warcraft and Starcraft among other things) this year because I would finally be out of school and working, so we'd have the time and money. OH, IRONY! She is a cruel mistress. Unemployment has left me with plenty of time to be sure, but no money. So it was up to my fella to bankroll the trip for 2 people. But damn if he didn't come through.

There is a slight snag in that, while we have plane tickets to get to California (and a hotel reserved), we don't actually have Blizzcon tickets. If you're plugged in to such things, you may have heard about Blizzard's ticketing debacle earlier this year. Fiance has been to almost every Blizzcon ever; he's knows how to handle the purchasing system. But Blizzard changed things up this year and a lot of people who should have gotten tickets, who have always been able to do so the past, missed out. However, we have a secret contact that may be able to help us out with tickets once we're there. And even if we can't go to the con, our backup plan is Disney Land tickets. Plus, we'll get to visit with all our Cali friends and just hang out in California. Which is pretty awesome by itself.
