Sorry guys. It's been a weird day so this is going up much later than I intended. Yesterday, Fiance and I went to the beach!
The beach?
You might ask, since I live in Nashville and there really isn't any ocean close enough for a day trip. Correct. As the pictures give away, we went to a lake beach, because what middle Tennessee lacks in ocean, it makes up for in lakes. Seriously, there are a shit-ton of lakes here. And it still counts as a beach because the particular spot we went to brings in sand for that real beach feel.
Fiance always takes pictures at the worst times and without warning me, so I always look ridiculous. |
I was a little more prepared for this one because I just stood there in that pose for about 10 minutes until I figured he had to have acquired at least one good pic. |
Neither of us is present here, just a shot of the beach area. |
For extra fun, we stopped by a gas station on the way and got picnic supplies! |
Try this yourself! Investigate cheap, simple things to do for fun in your area. It's amazing how just getting out of the house can lift your mood. And if you live near where I do, definitely post your ideas so I can try them too!
SON OF A BEACH!
ReplyDeleteCute suit!
I have nothing of importance to add.
It's from Modcloth! I originally got it hoping it would cover my side/rib tattoos. It does not. Still love it, though!
DeleteP.S. Compliments about me or my stuff are ALWAYS important enough to add comments! ;)
DeleteYeah, I bought a tankini and just hope it doesn't flutter/float up and cause problems. I don't like being trapped in a one-piece. I get all panicky, and peeing suuuuucks.
DeleteWe weren't there long enough for me to have an issue with the bathroom, but that is why I too usually avoid the one-piece. It just happened to be the first thing I grabbed and I stuck with it because I'm embarrassed about my ever expanding, laziness induced tummy.
